Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication, Popular Culture, and Film at Brock University.

I am also a published non-fiction book author with Oxford University Press and University of Toronto Press.

I teach online courses to thousands of students from around the world, write commentaries on currrent topics in crisis communication, and publish academic research on crisis communication, writing pedagogy, and media history.
